Cate Kennan is a composer and recording artist from Los Angeles who writes melodic music for synthesizers and other instruments. Her debut album, The Arbitrary Dimension of Dreams, was released by Post Present Medium in 2022. ‘

The Arbitrary Dimension of Dreams’ is Cate Kennan’s oblique exploration of memory, nighttime, and narrative. The resulting 12 compositions are brisk, evocative, and lingering. Kennan’s sonic palette is vast yet harmonized, deftly matching spectral synthesizers to hazy lap steel guitars and watery analog effects. Existing in the sparsely occupied world of early melodic electronic music, her songs call to mind the sonic landscape’s of Malcolm Cecil, Hans-Joachim Roedelius, and Deux Filles. 

Ruairí De Búrca is a sound designer and musician based in Cork City. He performs and composes under his own name, as well as part of the groups Ana Palindrome, Crying Loser and Trá Pháidín. Ruairí combines elements of long form ambient music and electronica alongside sounds and images from nature to create soundscapes and movements to drift away in.
