Deafheaven's sixth studio album, Lonely People With Power, marks a return to their black metal roots after the more melodic Infinite Granite (2021). Produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen (St. Vincent, M83) and mixed by Zach Weeks, the album was recorded at EastWest Studios in Hollywood, California. It features guest appearances from Paul Banks of Interpol and Jae Matthews of Boy Harsher.
