The Bad Fire is the eleventh studio album by Scottish post-rock band Mogwai, released on January 24, 2025. Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer John Congleton, the album was recorded at Chem 19 Studios in Blantyre, Scotland. The title, derived from a Scottish slang term for Hell, reflects the band's experiences during a challenging period, including personal hardships and the illness of band member Barry Burns' daughter.
