Sometimes you have to burn everything down in order to start over. That was the mentality Irish singer-songwriter Eoin French, better known as Talos, adopted in order to create his third studio album, ‘Dear Chaos’. Following his 2019 effort ‘Far Out Dust’, ‘Dear Chaos’ is a portrait of destruction, rebirth, and renewal. Written and recorded in Castletownshend, Cork, Ireland over a two-and-a-half year period, ‘Dear Chaos’ builds a unique world out of shimmering, atmospheric electronics, reverberating drums, and ethereal synths. In order to reach this new plane of existence, Talos had to first unlearn everything he thought he knew and start again.
