A cofounder of Mutant Academy, Anakin’s rise began with a string of collaborations, including the highly praised FlySiifu’s project with Pink Siifu in 2020, followed by their $mokebreak EP in 2021. His solo debut, Frank (2022), earned widespread acclaim and showcased his evolution as both an MC and producer. Influenced by the golden age of East Coast rap, Anakin blends classic sounds with pioneering production, working with artists like Freddie Gibbs, redveil, BbyMutha, and MAVI.

Executive produced by Quelle Chris, the album features collaborations with Denmark Vessey, The Alchemist, BbyMutha, and Pink Siifu.
