A debut which spawned a precious couple of hits in its time, their 1991 release is an overlooked classic of hip-hop’s golden age, a boom-bap masterpiece loaded with De La Soul-esque humour, hare-brained-street-smart wordplay and a stellar production style, which incorporates many of the dialogue snippets and Saturday morning cartoon vibes of DOOM’s post-millennium releases.
