Six years after the release of the "A Parade, In The Place I Sit, The Floating World (& All Its Pleasures)" EP on anno Records, Brian Leeds, aka Huerco S., returns to the Loidis project with One Day, an LP of patient, shimmering minimal and dub techno that underscores his mastery of subtlety. Across eight tracks, Leeds crafts deep, wobbly rhythms with dubby chords, swung percussion, and chunky basslines, creating kaleidoscopic soundscapes that evolve with each loop. Highlights like "All of Em" and "Wait and See" fuse mid-'00s minimalism with cinematic flourishes, while tracks like "Sugar Snot" and "Why Do" bring hints of disco and breakbeat into the mix.
